Study at UQDI

The UQDI supports the most promising students and clinicians by providing world-class research training opportunities. As a student of the UQDI, you will be given the chance to undertake research into an environment dedicated to the pursuit of excellence, where researchers are given the freedom and support to challenge the frontiers of biomedical and translational science. You will be encouraged to develop your research skills, to develop research acumen and to develop the skills you will need to become an active and employable member of your community – from communication to commercialisation.

UQDI students join a stimulating interdisciplinary team of researchers that includes molecular biologists, stem cell biologists, immunologists, geneticists, clinicians and biostatisticians.
Opportunities exist for both postgraduates (Research Higher Degree) and undergraduate students. A range of student projects are offered throughout the year.
