1. Find out about what an RHD at UQ means.

2. Look at the research projects on offer.

3. Contact the research leader whom you are interested in working for and confirm that they are happy and able to take you as a student.

4. Complete an Expression of Interest form. Return to Postgraduate Administrative Officer with CV and 2 referee reports.

5. If approved by the Institute's Education Committee as a potential student, visit the UQ Graduate School website to learn how to develop your research proposal and then apply as a Research Higher Degree student. Return the completed form to  the Institute’s Postgraduate Administration Officer by emailing s.dyson"at"uq.edu.au. Certified copies of relevant documentation must be sent in hard copy to:

6. You will be contacted by the Graduate School to inform you if your application was successful.
