The UQDI supports the most promising students and clinicians by providing world-class research training opportunities.
The UQDI is home to the UQ Centre for Clinical Genomics, the most sophisticated and largest human genomic facility in the southern hemisphere.
We are dedicated to improving the management of severe and chronic diseases, such as cancer, arthritis and diabetes, through biomedical research into their causes. We place particular emphasis on translation of that research into new and innovative therapies and diagnostic methods that will make a difference to wellbeing.
