The Diamantina Institute is governed by the Advisory Board and the Scientific Advisory Committee. The Advisory Board provides advice to the Director on the strategic direction of the Institute. The Scientific Advisory Committee assists the Director by providing critical review of the scientific programs of the Institute.

We also have three internal committees:

• Management Committee - made up of a representative research leader from each Program, the Director, the Deputy Director of Operations and the Research Infrastructure Manager;
• Research Committee - made up of representatives from all levels of research from each research area, the Director, the Deputy Director of Operations and the Scientific Research Management Officer;
• Education Committee - made up of representatives from all research levels from each research area, including students and the Postgraduate Student Coordinator.
