Clinical Trials

The importance of clinical trials cannot be understated. They are an essential part of research and a crucial step in enabling researchers to translate their findings into real clinical outcomes that may benefit patients. Although cell-based research and animal models are extremely useful in medical research, there is a significant gap that can only be bridged with clinical trials before a therapy can be widely available to the public.

FAQs about clinical trials

If you are seeking information about the skin cancer vaccine trial in the media recently, please read below:

The trials are likely to commence towards the end of 2009, and in the first instance, will be human safety trials in healthy volunteers. If we demonstrate the right outcomes from these studies, we’ll move on to patients with disease, and at that point we will make it widely known that we’re looking for volunteers. It is not feasible for us to take down names at this time. Please check back to this page late 2009.
