Diamantina Institute for Cancer, Immunology and Metabolic Medicine

The University of Queensland

About Us

The UQ Diamantina Institute for Cancer, Immunology and Metabolic Medicine was established in early 2007 as the sixth research institute of the University of Queensland. The Institute has over 200 researchers, students and support staff and is based at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.

The aim of our research is to develop a better understanding of the molecular and cellular basis of disease, and to translate that understanding into practical outcomes for patients.
