3 Minute Thesis Competition heats up
Published 1st July, 2011
An 80,000 word thesis would take 9 hours to present. Their time limit... just 3 minutes.
On Friday the 29th of July, participants will battle it out in the annual 3 Minute Thesis competition heat at UQDI.
From 2pm in the JZ Forum, a number of research students will put their presentation skills to the test and their ability to explain their complicated research in just 180 seconds to a panel of five judges from IMB and UQDI. There will be just two finalists. The select pair will then represent UQDI at the UQ inter-Institute final in August. The UQ 3MT Final will be held on the 13th of September
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is a research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland.
